Hoku Scholars is an integrated, merit-based scholarship program that helps kids from vulnerable communities get into college.

A total of 12 volunteers from the Pariveda family helped Hoku Scholars with their annual 2015  Occasion for Education fundraiser by helping with everything from setup, to carnival games, to running a bean bag tournament.  While there was plenty of hard work setting things up and contending with some incredibly excited children as they lined up to play carnival games or get their prizes, the team had a great time at the event and was able to help Hoku raise over $50,000, which is 43% more than their previous year’s fundraiser.
