Doggie Dash 5K

Unknown

This past Sunday, our Atlanta Fins assisted runners (and their doggies!) at the 3rd Annual Doggie Dash 5K. We were placed along the race trail to keep participants on the correct path around the Park and cheer them on. Drew Bingham and his son Wiley participated in the race and an honorable mention goes to the event’s youngest volunteer, Andy Edwards, who enthusiastically cheered, “Go, dogs, go!” to keep up morale. All proceeds raised at the event will go towards maintenance and improvements to the Piedmont Dog Park. Thanks to everyone who came out on a beautiful Sunday morning to make the event such a success!

The Piedmont Park Conservancy has been working to restore and preserve Atlanta’s most-visited green space since the nonprofit’s inception in 1989. The Conservancy has committed to updating amenities to meet the needs of its visitors. Their off-leash dog park is sustained entirely by donations to provide dogs and dog owners with a safe, clean space in the heart of Midtown.
